Outpatient Counseling
Our outpatient services include individual therapy, family, therapy and group therapy with a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor. These services may be provided on-site, off-site or by tele-video.
Crisis Stabilization
Crisis Stabilization offers short term non-medical crisis treatment and support services delivered by trained staff that provide 24/7 crisis relieving/resolving intervention and support through our crisis hotline and staff intervention. This service is designed to reduce acute symptoms of mental illness and to provide crisis relief, resolution, and intensive supportive resources for individuals who need support. This service is delivered to help mitigate the need for higher levels of care.
Community Psychiatric Support Treatment (CPST)
Community psychiatric support and treatment offers goal-directed supports and solution focused interventions intended to help individuals achieve identified goals. This service is a face-to-face or tele-video intervention with the individual but, may also include involvement of the family or significant other. CPST is provided by Licensed Mental Health Professionals.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PSR)
Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services are designed to assist with eliminating functional deficits and interpersonal or environmental barriers associated with emotional, mental or behavioral health issues. The intent of PSR is to restore the fullest possible integration of the individual as an active and productive member of his or her family and community. These services are primarily provided in the community and may include locations such as school, work or other public location. PSR services are provided by Master's Level Mental Health Professionals and Bachelor's Level Mental Health Specialists.
Where Does it Take Place?
Acadiana Hope and Wellness Center provides outpatient counseling that occurs in home, community, and in office. At least 50% of our services are conducted in the community in order to help clientele implement skills in their world.
